At Foxtrot Studio, we do not sell off-the-shelf templates; we engineer bespoke digital architecture. Because our services require the immediate allocation of expert time, strategic resources, and dedicated slots within our assembly line, our refund and cancellation protocols are strict and uncompromising.

By engaging our services and submitting your initial payment via our Frictionless Checkout system, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

1. The 50% Project Securance Deposit To commence any digital build, Foxtrot Studio requires a 50% upfront deposit. This deposit immediately secures your exclusive project slot for the month and covers the initial strategic architecture, onboarding, and Phase 02 (The Blueprint) preparations.

  • This deposit is strictly non-refundable once the onboarding phase has commenced and initial strategic work or design mockups have been executed.

2. Foxtrot Studio’s Right to Terminate (The Escape Clause) We maintain highly selective criteria for the projects we accept. If, during the initial onboarding phase (prior to any actual coding or structural design work), we determine that there is a fundamental misalignment in working dynamics, or the project scope is deemed unfeasible, Foxtrot Studio reserves the right to terminate the engagement.

  • In this specific scenario, a full 100% refund of your deposit will be issued immediately, and the contract will be voided.

3. Client-Initiated Cancellations (Mid-Project) If you choose to cancel, abandon, or indefinitely pause the project after work has commenced but before the final handover:

  • The initial 50% deposit is forfeited entirely to cover the time and resources already expended by our team.
  • If the volume of work completed exceeds the value of the initial deposit, Foxtrot Studio reserves the right to invoice you for the remaining pro-rated balance based on our standard hourly rates.
  • No digital assets, source code, or design files will be transferred to you in the event of an incomplete, canceled project.

4. Post-Handover & Final Deliverables Once a project reaches Phase 04 (The Handover), the final 50% balance has been cleared, and the digital architecture is migrated to your live server, the transaction is considered absolute and complete.

  • Due to the nature of digital goods and services, no refunds will be granted after the final handover is executed.
  • Any technical adjustments needed after this point fall under our standard 14-day post-launch warranty or require a separate maintenance agreement.

5. Creative Retainer & Subscription Services For clients enrolled in our ongoing Creative Retainer or design partnership programs:

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future billing.
  • Cancellations must be made at least 7 days before your next billing cycle.
  • We do not offer pro-rated refunds for the current active month if you decide to cancel halfway through a billing cycle. We will continue to fulfill design requests until the end of that current paid period.
